Enforcement:
Immediate post removal and warning. Repeated violations result in account suspension.
Share Experiences, Not Instructions
High PriorityMembers can share personal experiences and what they learned from healthcare providers, but cannot instruct others on what to do.
Examples:
- ❌ "Here's the CBD dosage that worked for me - you should try it"
- ❌ "Don't tell your doctor about CBD, just start using it"
- ✅ "My doctor helped me understand how CBD might fit into my pain management plan"
- ✅ "I learned about potential interactions with my heart medication"
Enforcement:
Post review and member education. Repeated violations may result in temporary restrictions.
Respectful Communication
High PriorityMaintain respectful, supportive dialogue. No harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful behavior toward any member.
Examples:
- ❌ Personal attacks or name-calling
- ❌ Discrimination based on age, health status, or background
- ✅ "I understand that can be frustrating"
- ✅ "Thank you for sharing your experience"
Enforcement:
Warning for first offense, temporary suspension for severe or repeated violations.
Privacy Protection
Critical PriorityProtect your own and others' privacy. Never share personal medical records, full names, or identifying information.
Examples:
- ❌ Posting photos of prescription bottles or medical records
- ❌ Sharing full names, addresses, or phone numbers
- ✅ Using first name and last initial only
- ✅ General discussion without specific medical details
Enforcement:
Immediate post removal. Account review for privacy violations.
Evidence-Based Information Only
High PriorityShare information from credible sources like government research, peer-reviewed studies, or healthcare professionals.
Examples:
- ❌ Unverified claims from social media or blogs
- ❌ Anecdotal stories presented as medical facts
- ✅ References to government research studies
- ✅ Information from licensed healthcare providers
Enforcement:
Post review and source verification required. Misinformation results in removal.
No Commercial Content
Medium PriorityNo advertising, selling, or promoting CBD products, services, or businesses. This is an educational community only.
Examples:
- ❌ Links to CBD product websites
- ❌ Recommendations for specific brands or stores
- ✅ Discussion of research on hemp-derived cannabinoids
- ✅ General information about CBD types mentioned in studies
Enforcement:
Immediate post removal. Commercial accounts will be banned.
